I mistakenly made the assumption that October was a bit of an odd month to visit Whistler. You know, not warm enough to enjoy the lakeside views... nor cold enough to rip it up down the mountain. Yet, October has got to be the most perfect month.
There is something about this unique town that I absolutely adore as it transitions from its busy summer season to its even busier winter months. If you ever have the luxury of staying at Club Intrawest like I did, I guarantee you won't even want to leave the resort. Whistler in October is like the calm before the storm - there aren't too many people, the climate is just mild enough to endure without an overcoat, and my drink order comes pronto everytime...
Anyway, after a beautiful brunch at the Fairmont Chateau, my sister and I thought it would be a good idea to snap some pics in the courtyard of Club Intrawest - best defined as magical.
