It comes as no surprise that 2016 has been labeled "The Year of Video Marketing". It's been said that the human brain can process images 60,000 times faster than it does text. And why would you want to overwhelm your family, friends or customers with a bunch of jargon anyways? For instance, would you rather read through those instructions that came with your Smashbox Contour Kit or watch a one-minute lesson by your favourite beauty blogger? While we still appreciate the value of photography and 140-character blurbs (not too sure if we can get away with absolutely no text juuuuust yet...), you've heard it before and you'll hear it from us... short-form videos are where it's at!
Instagram, Vine, Snapchat and Youtube... these are just a few of the platforms that have revolutionized the way that we communicate. Social videos have become the primary medium for companies to sell a product, for solo / group artists to showcase their talent, and even for regular people to, well, flirt with one another (that's right, I see that yellow heart next to your name on Snapchat!).
And so, I want to reiterate to you (all past, present and future clients!) how valuable it is to have social short videos as part of your digital presence. With these 15 - 120 second clips, there's a greater opportunity for us to showcase the lifestyle that surrounds your brand, create meaningful connections with your audience, and have fun with the content!
